personality
A pathological liar by birth; Sam isn't someone who can sit down in front of someone and say he suffered in his life. He didn't. He lived a relatively good life growing up not to make him the least bit 'broken' at the standards of some people who go through their life. He never had the push to get him to become someone either for or against the World Government but he had enough to make sure that the life he was being threatened to live in was something he didn't want. He has the amazing talent of being able to sit in front of someone and spin a web of lies so well that they don't even question it twice. He's perfected his lies and mannerisms so that if it got down to it, he could lie without showing the signs of lying. One of his many, many talents. At the tip of the proverbial iceberg o' life, Sam has got it made that he could just sit back and let people do their own things.
But it was random change of events in his life that made him question everything he followed when he was just starting out in his teaching career and letting a student get taken away out of suspicion of being a wallclinger in the middle of class that made him change his thought pattern. It was something that scarred him; that he wasn't able to help for fear of being known as a conspirator to the entire deal. Samuel Noah MacKenzie changed every single thought pattern of the World Government he was raised to trust in, that his father worked for and mother followed unquestioning that he took a moment to step and listen. He didn't develop a hero complex as much as he developed something far worse, the need to have a voice. Headstrong in his resolve, Sam is stubborn as an ox. Only trusting [future girl character of bff] with his secret. He's gotten it plotted out in his head to make everyone eventually believe the lie he's built up though there's a rare few he deems trustworthy, ending up the type of person one has to build up trust with. Sam can be particularly cutthroat when it comes to things involving his secret and the people he tends to mentor.
A motherhenning personality, Sam feels particularly responsible for younger people or people wanting help. He's one of those guys who's willing to give the clothes off his back to help someone back or even so much as taking a bullet (which he has done once in his life). He's got a very charismatic way to him when it comes to public speaking, something that he makes sure is intelligible during his on-air broadcasts about some of the things the World Government does. He knows that playing an ever active role in bringing the actions of the WG to light is something of a twenty-four hour thing for someone.
Almost naturally he was born a teacher, a quick learner and even so much as a mentor. He makes sure that things are easy to understand for people who need it. But the most shining feature is that he's not someone who gives a straight answer, being as cryptic as they get when he wants to make sure someone will actually pay attention to what he has to say even if they need a secret decoder ring. He already has the people who he knows who can have a positive impact on the world or a positive impact on more people than themselves.

- CLAIRVOYANCE — Samuel can have 'visions' of a certain person and the area they are in. He just has to focus on a certain person (even without the knowledge of the person, just a name) and he can pinpoint where ever they are in the world. He can see what they look like and location as if he were there with him. This ability actually takes a lot of concentration on his end, to the point where he is left vulnerable to attack as well as one of the most notable, is that he cannot track down the deceased. He can't find them no matter what.
background
Born to Lucinda and Randall MacKenzie; Sam was the eldest of seven which than dictated every action that would follow the man into his adulthood. Samuel didn’t have the good end of the stick, sadly, it took him two years before ‘being the baby’ was quickly taken over by ‘being the big brother’ with his little brother, Jonathan. But he couldn’t contain conscious thought to the gravity of this until he was much older and taking care of his younger brothers and sisters was something that was almost ordered upon him. His parents couldn’t exactly take care of the kids all by themselves, it came to pass that Sam would be the one to help them stay afloat when it came to the 'army' of children they had. Something that made Samuel grow up more than he would rather have but something that he didn't exactly question as much as the next person in his life would.
The world passed just as any ole time. Sam was quite used to dealing with everything within the boundaries of realism. He didn't question when his father would be gone for months on end. Or when his mother would spend the weekend over at his uncle's house while he made sure the other kid's were alright for the most part. That was his job as older brother, after all. Too look out for his baby brothers and sisters even though John seemed to become quite adamant to helping him rather than let him be the one to carry the weight of their family all by his lonesome. Something Sam gave into after much arguing between the brothers. His father never found out about the illicit affair his mother and his brother were having behind his back; not even after death while he just grew up into believing just as many people had that the World Government was something that was an ever present entity that would only assist him in future venues; especially while being the child of one of their most loyal members. He questioned nothing of the world, even if his innocence was already shattered by the small everyday things that ruined society.
It wasn't until he reached his senior year of high school that everything changed in his life. It only changed for him, however, as he was staying in his friend's house for the evening. He watched the horrors that his father and coworkers were capable of. Watching as they crashed into his friend's house in the dead of night to take their father, a known raider who had given up their life of crime to raise a family. It still didn't change what he had done in the past. He and his friend went into hiding for the entire night until dawn broke and the sound of struggling or rifling through his friend's home was finished. He never looked at his father the same way after that.
There was a devote hatred he had for his old man that when his best friend tried to come over and kill him, he didn't hold anything against him. He just told him there were better ways of going about it to the point where the honor student made it known to surrounding raiders, smugglers, and wallclingers in the area of his father's occupation. By use of a fixed up CB radio that would later become the start of his backhanded operation. First it was the start of a line of betrayal and exposing his father to every bad thing he was capable of recreating before telling his father that he knew what his job entitled after four years of near death experiences and Sam using him as his one key access into the knowledge of what the World Government was doing. By this time, he was already studying to be a teacher.
It was both a blessing and a curse when his father went missing. Taken by a group of raiders in the Canadian mountains so that when Sam finally learned to hone his ability of 'clairvoyance' he was able to find his father. By than he'd already mastered lying as something to make sure that anyone who knew of his other occupation of exposing the world to the horrors that people were capable of (both World Government and the unsavory types people were taught to fear), he faced his father for one last time. Explaining the gravity of the situation they both were in before turning his back and leaving. That was the last time he ever saw his father. After that, his life continued as any other. He knew what he was capable of and who he was capable of pissing off but that didn't stop him from either of his jobs. Soon it came up that he was getting married to someone who he thought he could trust with everything in his life.
Turned out he couldn't. Sam and his now ex-wife always had a bumpy road while they were together. So much so that it caused their divorce and his ex-wife constantly reminding him that she knew what he did behind peoples backs. The faceless voice to the people had a name and she used knew who it was. So after that it didn't take long before he started making sure he gave her whatever she needed while trying to dig up dirt to make sure that he could either hold something over her head or find something out that could get her into an 'accident' something Sam didn't quite want to resort to when it came to anyone after doing that to his father. All of this, in the end, has been going on since he made a killing in the professional field as a professor of World History or a private-tutor to hire that is usually spent hopscotching from London to his random pupils that he has dedicated his life to showing how the world has changed in the most subtle way possible.
